About Darcy...

My friend told me about this, and I thought it would be wonderful to share with my five year old daughter, Katie. She loves looking at maps, and I thought whenever we receive a postcard I can show her on the map where it is from. I also want her to know about the lost art known as "snail mail," since it is all about emails and texts now! Currenetly I only speak English, but my husband and in-laws speak French, and my daughter is in a French immersion kindergarten, so I hope to learn with her! I would love the postcards to show scenery or famous landmarks from where you live! Also, if you have a postcard of the Royal wedding of Kate and William, I would love to receive it!

I work for a local TV station. I love going to the movies (my all time favorite is "The Shawshank Redemption"), having a glass of wine with my girlfriends, date night with my hubby, and seeing the world thru the eyes of my five year old. I love to travel, so far the farthest I have made it is Italy, where I had some amazing food and wine. I have been to Hawaii several times which is always relaxing, and closer to home I often visit Washington and California. I had the honor of visiting New York City 3 months after 9/11 where I saw Ground Zero and cried at the wall of missing people. I can't believe that was 10 years ago.
