About Daniel...
Hello!
I'm Daniel, (Dan for short).
I live in North-West England and I have graduated with my BA degree in International Relations fromu university. Hopefully it will be worth the hard work and I can get a good job, and I hope to travel the world with it! At the moment I want to take a gap year (or 18 months!) while I'm still 21, and do some voluntary work for charities. I have done a TEFL qualification (for Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and am re-studying French. I hope to teach the English language properly one day now I have a place on a CELTA course. Just Now (March 2012) I have started a new job as destinations assistant at an important historical monument: the Anderton Boat Lift. (See more here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anderton_Boat_Lift)
I started to collect stamps when I was about 8-9 years old because of my Dad's old collection. So any nice or special stamps would be really welcome, thank you in advance!
I think this is a really good way to communicate with other people all over the world who you wouldn't otherwise be able to.
I have no specific requests. Envelopes are fine if thats what you prefer. Mostly, I would be REALLY happy if you used nice stamp(s).
Please see my favourites if you are really unsure, but I will leave the choice totally up to your immagination!
My recently visited countries/places: [I am so spolit by travel]
France x4, Spain >5x, Tunisia, Estonia, Finland x2, Hungary, Czech Republic, Eritrea, Portugal x3. Longer Ago: The Gambia, Senegal, Kenya, Germany, India, Trinidad and Tobago x2, Cape Verde.
Have fun sending!
I am interested in 'Direct Swops'. If you are too, please e-mail me at: daniel_eastwood_90@hotmail.co.uk and include your wishes and contact address. Then I hope we can make an exchange of cards/stamps. Thanks!
***News: On 30/04/12 Royal Mail is increasing postage prices by a large amount, including for international postcards. It will now cost me a lot more to send every postcard... 87 pence each, rather than 68 or 76 before - this is a lot more for me to afford! Just wanted to let you all know, and all my direct swap friends, so apologies in advance if I do not swap so much in future, this is why. Bye!***
