About Iris_Anna...

Hello everyone,

my name is Iris Anna and I live in Germany. I'm not used to write and talk in English, it is years ago since my schooldays, but I try my best. If I use funny words or sayings - please be forgiving!

I like reading, especially manga and manhwa, but also science fiction and fantasy stories. And I love watching anime and dorama.

Lately I take up learning Japanese. I love the sound of spoken Japanese and the way of writing with kana and kanji. Maybe some day I will visit Japan. But 'til then I had to learn much, much more, if I don't want to use my broken English or my hands and mimic (it's allright to use them, too, but not if I should be able to use Japanese. *smile*)

What's more about me? Hm, I'm a mother and wife, used to work as a nurse, actually teach children how to read, love the ocean (even though I cannot swim very well...) and places in nature without other people around. I like moving, am afraid of spiders and hate conflicts. I don't watch TV that much, because I dislike being forced by fixed broadcasts to organize my day (and I hate the disruption of films by commercial broadcasts!). But I love to listen to the radio, to new songs or oldies and to the news. And I absolutely love to surf the web, to chat with other people all around the world and to discuss different themes in that nice forum where I'm a member of.

Now I'm very curious when I will get the next cards. I imagine I will dance with joy in front of my letterbox when seeing cards in it - ooops, better no dancing, the god of weather may think I do a rainwish dance or something like this. Ok, no dancing, and no singing, too, that would cause a storm immediately. But I will be very, very, very happy, I'm sure!

Oh, well, and every card will be welcome! Choose the one you like and will share with me, and I will be happy to be the one sharing your choice!

Nice to meet you all!

Actually: It's time to send postcards again. Due to different issues I haven't participate in Postcrossing for a long time, but now I'm back!
