About Katie...

I'm American, 25 years old, and I've recently moved back to the US after three years living in Japan. I was a kindergarten and English teacher, but I quit my job in order to travel around the world. My husband and I are going to start traveling in October 2010. I'd really like to hear about what I should do or see in your country, especially things that are not in guidebooks.

I like all types of cards, but my favorites are World Heritage sites (especially castles, religious sites, or any interesting buildings), city views, traditional artwork and crafts, anything with a foreign language written on it, pictures of festivals, maps, or food. I want to see something that is unique to your city/ country! I love art so handmade cards are welcome too.

Japan users- I am also collecting the "gotochi" prefectural postcards. http://www.postacollect.com/gotochi/index.html If it's listed below, I don't have it yet!

Aomori
Iwate
Akita
Yamagata
Miyagi
Niigata
Fukushima
Tochigi
Chiba
Yamanashi
Fukui
Tottori
Kochi
Saga

If you are interested in swapping for a Hyogo card (or Kyoto or Osaka because I have extra) please send me a message! I am out of Japan now but I still am open to swapping.

When I start traveling I will no longer to be able to participate as usual, but as my funds allow, I would be happy to continue doing private swaps.

Have a great day and happy postcrossing!
