Please note that if you send me a card that recent changes to the postal service in my area mean that cards take much longer to reach me - almost double the time that they previously would take, so if a card takes longer than a fortnight to reach me, please don't panic. We only receive three postal deliveries per week from Sydney.

I was born in the UK and came to Australia in 1964. I worked as a teacher for about 20 years and since then have had various jobs.

I'd enjoy receiving any type of postcards except ads with information about where you live or about yourself but if you are looking for ideas for a card, I especially like national costumes, native animals and native flora, map cards, markets and views of your countryside but I'm not too keen on black and white cards.

Also, I hate to be picky but I'd rather not receive cards of Australian animals.

My apologies but I do not own a scanner.

I'd appreciate postcards with stamps on them and not in an envelope as this finishes off the card for me, so please, please NO ENVELOPES. I keep my cards in an album and leave the stamps on. Also, if possible cards from your country would be nice. Thank you
