Brescia was founded by the Gauls or Celts Cenoman, then Brescia or Brixia became a very important Roman city and a Royal duchy of the Lombards, people coming from the land of the northern Europe ( Scandinavia )- in 2011 "LONGOBARDI in ITALIA" BRESCIA is New UNESCO - WORLD HERITAGE.
Since 1426 Brescia became a city of the Venice Repubblic ( Serenissima )
