I live in Umbria near beautiful medioeval cities like Pietralunga, Gubbio, Montone and Assisi.
I love very much receiving and sending postcards. I love it with all myself! So when I discovered there was the opportunity to send and receive postcards from the world, I joined enthusiastically this site. And, adding more, I love to get in touch always with new people in the world. I like this Old World with the different colors, habits, environments, traditions, there are.
I love writing and reading mostly fantasy and fiction. I am a big fan of Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings' trilogy. I love all the books written by Joanne Harris,Terry Pratchett is very good; I read of the Discworld Eric, The truth (I am a journalist and it was interesting to see how we are "read" by a famous writer) and Witches abroad. I want to continue. I love The chronicles of Narnia by C.S.LEWIS, books written by Nesbit, and I think it's a masterpiece Jonathan Strange and Mr.Norrell by Susanna Clarke. I am reading now some irish books. I read recently World withour end by Ken Follett and I started Pillars of the Earth.

Ooooppppsss my favorite movies are: Pirates of the Carribean's trilogy, The Lord of the Rings's Trilogy, Forrest Gump, You've got mail, Sleepless in Seattle, Everyone says I love you, Shrek 1 2 3, 4 5 6 ;.) I hope, When Harry met Sally, The Crow, Elizabethtown, Charlie and the chocolate factory, The corpse Bride, Chocolat, The mystery of Sleepy Hollow,Bridget Jones (both episodes), Shall we dance, Barefoot in the park,etc. I have seen I think all Disney's movies and cartoons (my favorite character is Donald Duck! My favorites Disney's movies are Mary Poppins and Herbie!!!...Jack Sparrow and his crew too, talking of recent works.)

Favorite actors: the guy in the profile (Orlando Bloom)and Johnny Depp.

I love postcards with seascapes, landscapes, (if you live where there are seascapes and landscapes, of course) and also beautiful imagines of your city, town, villages. I love vintage imagines too and also the handmade postcards sounds to be beauty. But what attract me very much is to see your corner of world. I can't travel now and this is a good way to stay connected with the rest of the world;-)
Important: I would love to receive stamped postcards and of course hand-written if you can, telling me also something about the place in which you live. A quick note can let me understand your reality much better. I love to feel the contact with the distant sender of the postcards.
