Hi everyone, my name is Julia. *waves*
I'm a German girl who has been living in on the far side of the world for the past ten plus years. I still miss my old home in Europe often... after all, "paradise" is really just another (very small ^_^) place on earth. I've been happily married for 12 years, getting my Masters in Library and Information Science at the moment, and love collecting postcards to put up on my wall :)

I'm curious to see where my fellow Postcrossers live, and it makes me happy to hear little stories and random tidbits about yourself, your hometown, or your country. Tell me anything, something you love about the place you live, what made you smile today, what you'll have for dinner... anything at all, I'd love to read it :)

- winter scenes (I love snow, but can't get any here in Hawaii)

- wildlife (owls, squirrels, racoons... animals like that)

Anything typical of your home-country/state/city/town would also be nice, especially cards showing your local nature or animals. I also love beautiful & interesting stamps of any kind! And if possible, please send my cards written and stamped, without envelopes. Thanks!

That said, pretty much any kind of postcard is wonderful and will put a smile on my face. Just please don't send me double-sided/greeting cards, ad-cards (unless they're funny/special or related to my favorites somehow) or empty cards... thank you!

I'm happy to do private/direct swaps, just send me a message if you would like a card from me. If I don't reply right away please be patient... I get a lot of requests and sometimes it takes me a while to work through them all.

Also, if you ask for a private swap please at least try to send me a card that I will enjoy. It doesn't have to be from my wishlist, any simple landscape or animal card would be fine... but please don't send me cards with people, art, or city views (unless they're especially beautiful or related to my wishlist). Thanks for understanding!
