Greetings from Almetyevsk - from the center of the oil industry of Tatarstan!
Our climate is sharply continental, in summer it can be hot up to + 40C, and in winter frosts are -40C and below. It is even considered to be a rickety farming area. But we have the most beautiful places located nearby - these are forests, and steppes, and mountains, and swamps, and rivers, and lakes, and all this is stunningly beautiful!
My name is Alexander, I have a wife, we have five grown children, ten grandchildren and just recently a great-granddaughter appeared!
I am a civil engineer and retired for a long time, but sometimes I work if asked and always love to do it with pleasure.
We love to travel by car, visit relatives (we have them all over the country from Smolensk to Siberia), visit historical places, relax in nature, in a forest or near a lake, on the banks of a river, watch birds, animals and plants. Ecology comes first!
We are interested in the peculiarities of nature, culture and art of other countries.
I like postcards where fishing and seafood are any images, including fishing, fish farming, protecting rare species, food, cooking, and the like.
I love postcards with any fishing, fish, tackle and fish cuisine - this is the theme of my collections.
The priority is also:
- beautiful and unusual places for us, nature, glorious landscapes
- photos from the life of animals, birds, reptiles, fish and insects in nature, the environment, I especially love the kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) - he is an excellent angler!
- domestic pigs and geese
- art, in particular abstraction, surrealism, humor and the like.
- Interesting stamps and philately.
