About Alexander...
We all want to become closer to each other, and there are a lot of ways for this, one of which is postcrossing.com. In our era of global digital communications our meeting got to be easier in the web, but this is impersonal. Just a few people write a real letters by hand now, but it contains a part of the sender's identity! Thanks for this project!
I would be glad if you send me postcards on such themes:
— The Beatles (everything touching on the band);
— Liverpool (city and football club);
— Hippies (hairy people, pacific signs, painted buses VW, Woodstock);
— Psychedelic (looks like an expanded sense after eating LSD);
— Astronomy (astronauts, space stations, planets, deep space objects);
— Computers (parts, games, schemes);
— Maps (geographical, city or building plans);
— Buildings (lighthouses, skyscrapers, bridges, peasant's houses);
— Musical instruments (especially your native);
— Pop-art (pictures and parodies on popular brands);
— Advertising (if it's very creative);
— Retro cards (pin-up, city and street views in ’30—‘70s, cars, people in vintage clothes);
— Black and white artistic photos (especially nude);
— Pixel-art (8 bit graphics);
— Vehicles (ships, planes, trains, trams, buses, motorcycles, bicycles);
— Animals (giraffes, elephants, carnivore birds).
I prefer full-written cards, so please, don’t be lazy! If you don’t know what to write, you can reply on these questions:
— Which no-touristic places in your city do you can recommend me to visit?
— What is your favorite movie and why?
— What happened today with you?
— What do you dream about?
— What is your most bright flashback?
Self-made cards are welcome! Also, I welcome the signs in your native language, real postage stamps, drawings, and (for girls only) a kiss with lipstick imprint on paper. ;-)
If you have sent me a card, and it has been traveling for over 30 days, and I have not registered it, please message me, because it shouldn't take that long.
