Hi, I am Arthur, 47, I live in the south of The Netherlands, close to Belgium. I like funny cards.

- I am a big fan of Donald Duck. If you send me a Donald Duck-card I will return one card for free, extra, with the very special and unique official dutch stamp of Postcrossing, esp. made by the postoffices of the Netherlands (if you want this, please tell me)! I want a laugh when I get your card...
- TV-series: Friends, Flying doctors, Pipi Longstrumpf, Baywatch, Married with children, Alf, A-team, Big Bang Theory, Monty Python, Expedition Robinson, Colditz and so on. No soaps. Movie: back to the future, women of Harry Potter.
I am working for the ministry of agriculture, like travelling far, such as Galapagos, Easter island, South-Africa, New Zealand, but I also like England, Canada, Iceland, Norway and camping in France and/or Germany.
I am the chairman of organisation VOBULA that organizes volunteer-work and camping in nature, with 1600 members in The Netherlands. Sleeping in a small tent, campfires in the evenings, life is great.
I also love movies or TV-programms about uninhabited islands and people surviving there, like Robinson Crusoe.
I collect stamps, so I'm very interested in foreign stamps.
I love getting hand-written post on paper, instead of mails per computer, which are not very personal.

I also don't like Mickey Mouse and other cartoons, apart from Donald Duck.

Around x-mas, I like x-mas cards and if you know it, I like Sinterklaas-cards, that are very rare!
I also like funny, comical cards, sometimes sexy (like the comparison: three beautiful young girls in bikini on the beach in the travel-brochure and under that the reality of three old women in bading suits on a not so white beach).
I like funny cards, which give me a laugh.
I love islands, favorites are Iceland, Ireland, Jersey, New-Zealand, Galapagos and Easter island.
I have started sending postcards on October 18th 2011.
I can read English, most of German, 25% of French. I can understand a little bit of Spanish and Italian, just 3 words in Russian and also some Afrikaans.
