About Arran...
i am an A&E (emergency medicine) doctor and I have moved almost every 5 years of my just gone 30 year old life! Postcrossing makes me happy and I love having new stories arriving on my doorstep when I get home from crazy night shifts and equally everyone I get to write to in the wee hours of the morning keep me happily writing so I feel connected to the outside world.
I have had to change postcrpssong IDs recently due to privacy so the below is picking up where I left off:
I also love vegetarian cooking, exploring London where there's always something interesting or new around every corner.
I have been a postcrosser in the past and am happy to be back; and am quite excited to hearing your stories and receiving your cards again. Some suggestions/ requests if possible would be (to help fill out my collection so far)
- images of your town/city/country especially outside and why you chose that card
- images of your national wildlife/ local animals
- images of your monarchy/royalty/prime ministers/presidents etc-- I found people really liked receiving postcards of our UK royal family so I'm interested in seeing yours as well
- anything representing your nationality or country
Please don't send postcards in envelopes-- without fail I will lose the envelope and forget if I've registered your card, And colourful stamps are hard to keep together with their owner postcard!
I would also really like it if you can say something even a few sentences about yourself-- you can write in yr own language if your English isn't good (or write in French, Spanish, German, Hebrew!!!h
Please tell me something about you, a favourite vegetarian recipe, any holidays or exciting things you have coming up that you're looking forward to!
Thanks and best wishes
