Hello,
I have worked for the FAA in Air Traffic Control for the last 27 years. Before that I served in the US Navy for four years as an Air Traffic Controller. Two years stationed in NAF Sigonella, Sicily and 2 years aboard the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier out of Norfolk, Va.
I like to spend time completing woodworking projects, refinishing antiques, and going to auctions. Hiking or long walks in the woods, on the beach, anywhere that I can enjoy the fresh air. My camera goes everywhere, I take candid shots of people, humorous situations, the beauty of nature, my next meal ha!. I like to wind down enjoying the fish in my 2 aquariums, I raise cherry red shrimp. I play the harmonica and am trying to learn the Ukulele. I enjoy tending to a vegetable garden each year and what we don't eat fresh, we preserve by canning and/or pickling.
Car shows are a blast, currently I am searching for either a 1958 Chevy Impala or 1958 Austin Healey Bugeye to restore, although anything sitting in a garage or barn for the last 40 or 50 years would be cool too.
Besides my wife (for 27 years) and my 3 adult children we share our home with a Guinea Pig (Nutmeg) and a rabbit (Chloe). I would love to have room for some goats and chickens.
I would enjoy colorful postcards that portray or celebrate your town or local customs/culture or landscapes.
