About Alissa...

Hi, I am Alissa and I'm 31 years old. I am married with three children. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and take online courses full time. I'm earning a degree in special education, though I am also focusing some attention on journalism. I've always loved to write. In addition, I love to spend time with my family, read, scrapbook, take pictures, and do multiple crafts. I love collecting stamps, so I'd really like to see any that you have to offer. As a family, we enjoy watching ice hockey and baseball, and we are very involved with softball.

My children and I are working together on a Postcrossing project, scrapbooking our postcards along with information on the locations they come from or about the art on the card. It is a great learning experience for my children (and even for myself!).

All postcards are welcome, but some great suggestions would be:
- Sports related (including any local sports, as it would be fun to learn more about them)
- Crosses
- Local attractions
- Buildings in your area (we love seeing the different architectural styles)
- Famous people or displays from your country
- Map cards
- Animals
- Christmas cards
- Cartoons
- Homemade cards
