About Viktoria...

Hey!

My name's Viktoria and I'm from Russia. I'm 21 years old, a university student studying languages (English and German), so I will be happy if you write something in your native language on a postcard, greetings or even a few sentences. If you're writing in German, please don't use cursive! I'm struggling to understand it, so I'd appreciate easier to read writing, thank you!
I'm a huge language nerd and hoping to learn another language(s) in the future. I'm especially interested in Japanese, Czech, Polish, Welsh and Greek. Teach me some expressions in your language! I'd love that.

I'm fascinated by the idea of sending postcards! It's like collecting small pieces of the world in your room and leaving a piece of yourself all over the planet. I often find myself stuck looking through the gallery of recent postcards. Can't help but favourite all the wonderful cards people have sent!
I'd like to receive following postcards. However, these are not requirements! If you like the postcard you're sending, I'm sure I'll like it too!

• paintings/drawings/art
• pictures of your country/place, its nature, wildlife
• anything related to your culture (be it food, clothes, art)
• anything with dogs
• any other animals (cats, llamas/alpacas, hedgehogs, foxes, any other!)
• fantasy/magic related (mushrooms!, witches, fantasy creatures, etc)
• Lord of The Rings
• i'd love anything with folklore and mythology of your country or region
• libraries or book stores, shelves with books!
• hippie themed, psychedelic art retro or modern
• really dreaming about a card with krtek if you're from Czechia!
• the moomins
• vintage or retro themed postcards
• any postcard you have, like or want to make yourself!

Write a few words about yourself, random facts about you, your country, the postcard you chose or literally anything else! I especially appreciate some random facts about you.
If you sent a postcard a while ago and it has expired, you can let me know (if you want)! I'd appreciate it!

For people around my age: I'm looking for a penpal to exchange letters (not just cards) with. If you're interested, please do reach out.

Happy Postcrossing!
