About Tarja...

Hi! My name is Tarja. I´m 42 years old nurse from Kangasniemi which is a small idyllic village in Central Finland, near the city of Mikkeli

I like animals and we are having two cats and a dog, German Shepherd, with whom I have all kind of activities; jogging and training or just playing and enjoying being outside in nature. I love to play floorball and if I have time I like to play (electric) organ and read a lot. Sometimes I sew clothes. The most interesting and the oldest of my hobbies is stamp-collecting (over 37 years now).

After few months of postcrossing I noticed to be in trouble... the world seems to be full of lovely postcards :)))... That´s why I had to "tidy up" my favorites and delete from there the cards that I have already received. So my wall of favorites will be only a wish list from now on.

Practically you can send me any kind of postcards and I´ll be more than happy and I will appreciate every single postcard I´ll receive. Just surprise me! But here´s few tips if you need some:

~ Landscapes, nature and animals (WWF cards and stamps are my favorite, but I know that those can be difficult to find).

~ German Shepherd!!! And other dog breeds.

~ I´d like to receive cards which are telling me something about your city, culture, history, sights, and so on.

~ Old architecture, castles, churches and lighthouses.

~ Old sailing ships.

~ Jetoy-cards and cards made by Victoria Kirdiy

~ You can send me also FDCs or maxicards or other philately specialities...
and I will dance at our mailbox... :):):)
