About Elke...

Hello dear Postcrossers,

my name is Elke, I'm about 50 years old. I'm married. I live together with my husband in Düsseldorf, the capital of North-Rhine Westphalia. Our adult daughter moved back to my roots, to Saxony.

Since I was young, I love it to get postcards. Postcrossing is a very good project to communicate with other people. Therefore it would be nice if you write something about you, your interests, your profession, your country, your dreams... I'm always curious. Besides I like reading, going to the cinema, spending time with my friends, traveling, correspondence and photography. Maybe you can recommend me a good book or tell me about your last vacation.

If you still have no idea what kind of cards you could send me, I have some suggestions:

* city views
* elephants, owls, masks
* cards with proverbs and aphorisms
* cards with fairy tale characters or mythical figures of your country

* from Russia: Заяц и волк ( if possible )
* from Belarus: the series Fauna and Flora of Belarus, The Owls of Inga Paltser
* from Finland: please send me city views or if you don't have them The Old Ladys of Inge Löök
* from Czech Republic: Spejbl and Hurvinek ( if possible )
* from Sweden: Majas Alfabet cards
These are just suggestions, of course you can choose also other postcards. But please send me ONLY cards from YOUR OWN COUNTRY. I'm curious about your life and the beauty of your country, not to "exchanged cards." Sometimes I even send cards from other countries. Then you can be sure that I was there. I bought too much. ;-)

I don't like FREE CARDS, ADVERTISING CARDS AND "APP/ TOUCHNOTE CARDS." If it is possible and not too expensive, please put the card in an envelope.

Thank you so much, because you have read my profile. I wish you many great cards and Happy Postcrossing.

Elke
