About Sylvia...

Hello,
I am Sylvia and I am 70 years old. I am a retired teacher. My husband and our daughter are Postcrossing members too. We live in Goes, a small old town in the southwest of the Netherlands.

I like animals, especially dogs, cats and seals.
My hobbies are music (I like to play the piano, the violin and the guitar) and I like to read books (especially children's books), and Postcrossing and penpalling. ^.^

I like to receive colourful postcards from a random person somewhere in the world. I like a lot of cards, but these cards do I really like:
- Colourful postcards with musicians and musical instruments (especially the piano, the violin and the guitar),
- Nice illustrations, for example from children's books, by Inge Löök, Anton Pieck, M.C. Escher, Cornelis Jetses (Ot & Sien), Blue Art, Gorjuss/Santoro,
- Colourful postcards of the town/country you live in: city views, landscape, historic monuments/buildings, mapcards,
- Ethnic postcards (other cultures, traditions, traditional dress, etc.),
- Natural phenomenons: Northern lights, geyser, rainbow,
- Animal postcards (especially dogs and cats and seals),
- Dutch royalty,
- Night views, pictures taken at sunset,
- Fairies, fairy tales,
- Arctic world,
- Anything cute, pretty, funny or interesting,
- Birthday postcards in November, ^.^
- Season postcards, especially winter,
- Christmascards (in December) and New Year cards (in December and January) and springtime and Eastercards (in March and April), Halloweencards in October, Valentine cards in February,
- Cards of all kinds of celebrations/feasts,
- A card you really like yourself (so feel free to pick something I did not mention),

It would be great if you could write something on the card. Maybe you can tell me a bit about yourself, your favourite things, etc. And if you don't mind, please, write your address on the postcard too.

Thank you for reading this, best wishes and happy postcrossing!

Sylvia
