About Susanne...

Hello

My name is Susanne and I live with my boyfriend and our two cats in a small town in the Austrian Alps (Lake of Constance, very close to the German and Suisse border). In my free time I love to read novels (I am actually a bookworm). I am also addicted to postcards which means I cannot pass postcard display racks without looking for new postcards. I also love to travel (as nearly everybody). I go abroad at least twice a year and spend a lot of money for my journeys. I love cities with a tram system. I can spend several hours in a tram driving around just for fun. And to explain my avatar: I love sheeps since I am a small child.

If you do not know what kind of card you should send here are some hints:

- cartoons and fairy tales
- space flight/astronautics / famous Russian cosmonauts (e.g. Juri Gagarin)
- pictures of movie posters
- famous actors
- Petanque/Boule (French sports with an iron boule)
- Citroen DS (the car of Fantomas) / Russian vehicles
- old and idylic farm houses or any other old building
- any festivity which is typical for your region
- beautiful landscapes
- owls, elephants, wolves
- railway stations
- anything that has to do with cinema (e.g. view of a cinema)
- political propaganda
- trams
- any drawings from artists of your country
- the Moommins, Barbapapa, Muppets, Little Prince etc.
- any crazy postcard
- I also like creative handmade postcards if they are really made with "good vibrations".

For my Russian speaking friends: please write one sentence in Russian. As I startet do learn Russian Language I will try to translate your message (of course with the help of my teacher).

My next journeys will to to Estonia and Russia (Siberia, Sankt-Peterburg, Moscow). So if you come from one of these countries and you have things which are worth seeing please let me know. I prefer the hints from locals compared to those from a travel quide. Your idea can also be a bit crazy or unusual. I would be happy to know those spots.

I will be happy to receive your postcard (also birthday cards in September and Christmas cards) and I will do my best to send the kind of postcard you wish to receive.

Happy Postcrossing.
