Bonjour !

I am a New Zealander living (for the moment) in France. I love to travel so I do enjoy postcards which depict places - landscapes, towns, unusual buildings, etc. I especially like to receive cards which are "different" in some way.

Whilst I appreciate the effort it takes to make your own cards, I would prefer not to receive homemade cards, thanks. And definitely no advertising !

I make a special effort to ensure that every postcard I receive goes on my postcard wall so PLEASE take a look at it and check the cards I've received from your country before you send me a card to make sure I haven't already got it. It's so sad to receive duplicates.

With that in mind, I have until now resisted the temptation to make a list of cards that I would particularly enjoy, but I do understand that scrolling through hundreds of cards can be quite tedious. So to narrow it down a bit, here are some categories I have grown to love:

* Beautiful women in national dress (e.g. the "Russian Beauty" series)
* Impressionist art
* Spectacular buildings or monuments

I used to list my expired cards in the hope that someone might recognise one and contact me. For six years, no-one contacted me so I've removed the list. Suffice to say that the list was in the hundreds.
