About Curtis...
Hi! My name is Curtis and I live in Waycross, Georgia. I am a retired college professor of psychology/sociology. I have been married for 39 years. My wife and I have a son who is a medical doctor. Waycross is in southeast Georgia, on the outskirts of the great Okefenokee Swamp, which we have visited many times. About an hour away from our home are the Golden Isles of the Georgia Coast where we love to spend time, especially Jekyll Island and St. Simons Island. We also like to shop and spend time in the historical, southern city of Savannah, about two hours away. We like to travel, see places and meet people. I like photography (I take a camera everywhere I go), writing, reading, learning and exploring. I hope I make a difference through my teaching and writing.
I enjoy learning about the people, cultures and societies of the world. I would love receiving postcards from you.
The following are my favorite types of postcards:
* tourist postcards: city view, aerial view, multiview, famous landmarks, castles, churchs, museum, monuments, beaches, landscapes and national festivals
*Flags of the World from PostCardsMarket
*Greetings from..... by Postallove
* Lantern Press Original Poster cards
* map cards
* flag cards
* vintage cards
* sports
* science fiction/fantasy/steampunk
Please see my favorites for examples of what I like.
Of course, you can send me any postcard that you think is beautiful or special! Any postcard that you send will be appreciated.
Please write something about yourself, because I am always interested in learning new things about people. If you would date your card, I'd really appreciate it.
Please, no note cards or greeting cards in envelopes. Please send only postcards without envelopes. Since I also collect stamps from around the world, I would really appreciate nice stamps on the postcards.
I am looking forward to sending and receiving cards from all over the world. I travel a lot and buy postcards wherever I go. When sending postcards to others, I will do my best to send something that matches your preferences or favorites.
If you have sent me a postcard that is about to expire, please let me know and I will register it. I register cards the same day I receive them.
I look forward to receiving your postcards. Thanks in advance. Have a great day, my friend!
