Hello, my name is Ruth. I joined Postcrossing in late 2013--I was sending one postcard each day that year. I love to send and receive postcards.

I like any postcard! Some of my favorites are postcards that are bright and colorful, absolute nonsense or random--that postcard you think is really weird and you can never think of who to send it to, I will probably love it. I also have a collection of postcards with purple flowers. Please date your postcard and avoid using envelopes if you can.

My favorite thing about Postcrossing is to hear your stories. So, please write something about yourself. If you need ideas:
-facts, random facts that relate to your postcard, or hometown, last night's dinner, any random facts! (Nonsense and stories are also fun.)
- the last thing to make you laugh really hard.
-your plans for your next day off of work or school; or an upcoming vacation.
-Your favorite book, or the best book you have read recently.

I knit, crochet, scuba dive, sew, have a baby, love theatre, and reading; do you like any of these things? What is your passion/hobby?
