My main language is English, and I took several years of Spanish in high school. My mother-in-law speaks Spanish and can translate if necessary; I read it far better than speak (or write) it. Cards sent by me will be in English. I enjoy baking, comic books, medieval history (with an emphasis on Europe, but not limited to it), inkle weaving, crochet, reading fantasy and science fiction, singing, dogs, cats, horses, architecture, guitar, anime, fantasy and science fiction movies, calligraphy and illumination, historical portraiture, marching band, flowers, trees, mountains... Seriously - I could go on and on and on... Oh yes, and I love bears (polar bears, especially).

I've been married since 1990, and we finally had a son in 2003. My son is as enthusiastic about receiving cards as I am about sending them. He often helps me pick who gets which card.

I just recently found my Secret Stash Of Postcard-priced Stamps. Muahahaha!

Regardless of the type of card you select for me, I do ask that you personalise it in some manner - a quick note saying what city or suburb you're in, or how the weather currently is, or your pet's name. Ad-cards are fine, if you personalise them :)
