About Sjak...

Aalsmeer is my homevillage. I was born there, lived in Leeuwarden for 8 years but returned "home" 9 years ago. There is a lot of water to swim in, the Westeinder Plassen! It is nowadays used for recreational purposes like sailing, surfing or anything else people like to do on, or in the water.
In the early days the water was used by fisherman. One of Aalsmeer's delicatesse is smoked eel.
Aalsmeer is nearby Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam.

I love nature, gardening and being creative. And I also collect stamps and lizards(not the alive ones!).
I like snail mail (real post), so I am curious what kind of card you send to me! I really like colorfull postcards, like tropical birds, sunsets, abstract art, flowers, everything with color! And I would love to receive lizard postcards! Yes a Chameleon is a lizard too! :-)
I also love those postcards special editions with a stamp at the front. I have some in my favourites par example.

Seasonal cards are alright too!
When it's around Christmas-time you may send Christmascards to me, and when it is my birthday I like to receive birthdaycards!
The size of the card and with or without an envelope, it is all up to you! I like them all!

But truthfully, I just like the gesture of you picking out a card for me! I am grateful for that! And I will like the postcard no matter what! :-)
