'Sirlaidh':-my username is the Scottish Gaelic spelling of my real name, 'Shirley'.

Born in 1947 in London, Ontario, Canada.

Married; proud mother of two; proud grandmother of four.

Hobbies & Interests:----
Researching my family's Irish/English/Scottish/German family tree; Japanese origami; cross-stitch needlework

As well as making winter snow angels, I enjoy birdwatching, reading, listening to classical music, watching old movies, experimenting with new recipes, going for long walks, riding my bicycle, ice skating at the local arena. And--I'm a little old for these:--but I like blowing bubbles and using stickers, too!

I'm very good at finding four-leafed-clovers, so consider myself a lucky soul.

I will be delighted to receive each and every postcard that I find in my mailbox. I've always been fascinated by postage stamps, collecting them when I was child, so would be pleased to see 'real stamps' on my postcards. Thank you so much--in advance!
