Hello friend!

I am Nadine and after quite a few years of absence i have returned to Postcrossing. I look forward to connecting with a lot of wonderful people all around the world with only a small piece of cardboard.

My hobbies include drawing and painting as well as knitting. I love being creative and always wish i had more time to do crafts and art. I also love plants, though i am not very good at keeping them alive. I'm still amazed that one plant has survived for 5+ years so far with me.
I enjoy traveling and hiking in nature. I love to see the world and all the beautiful and different places in it. If traveling was free, i would always be on the move to the beautiful place that is around the next corner.

On quiet and rainy days, i like to read. I especially like fantasy books and i'm a great fan of Lord of the Rings and JRR Tolkien in general.
Fantasy in general is very important to me, as i get a lot of inspiration for my art from fantasy literature and art. I also play Dungeons and Dragons ( a pen & paper tabletop game) with friends and i try to tell my own stories in the game as well.

Another interest of mine is folklore, mythology and fairy tales. I love collecting folk stories and myths from all over the world.

I am happily looking forward to anything that fills my mailbox with something else than bills. :D
