Hi! I'm originally from California but have lived in Costa Rica for 8 years. I am married and have a four-year-old son who LOVES to get things in the mail! I am a big animal lover; we have 9 dogs and 4 cats at the moment, and I read and quilt to relax.

I really like all kinds of postcards -- animals, scenic views, art, food, cool/interesting ad cards, whatever! If your native language isn't English, it would be very cool if you wrote something in your first language. I love learning other languages, and besides Spanish, I am trying to learn French and Arabic. And a little Chinese.

My husband and I used to own a little cafe where we sold postcards. After we closed the cafe, I was left with a couple hundred postcards, so if you get a card from me, it will probably be one of those (unless you have specific requests that I can find here). :-) They are all from the "Food Cards" line with original artwork on the front and recipes or cultural info on the back.

If you send me a card, I'll be sure to put it on my Postcrossing blog and also on the Flickr group. I respect your privacy and don't post the written (back) sides of cards. If for some reason you don't want me to post the front side, just let me know. I also post the Postcrossing ID and where the card was sent from, but no names or user names.
