About Mel...

Hello, my name is Mel and I am a 25 year old college student. I was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. In my spare time I work in my garden, take photographs, help my family care for their herd of cattle and horses, make crafts, write, draw, work on some scrapbooking, hike, camp, swim, listen to music, go to the movies, spend time with friends and family, and much more when I can.

I plan to learn to ride a motorcycle, and I want to learn to play piano and guitar someday. I hope to be able to travel in the future, I have not had the opportunity to travel much yet. I am very easygoing, and I enjoy even the simple things in life. I have 2 cats, a black and white and a Siamese. I love Chinese Pugs. I grew up with one and I hope to have another one someday soon.

I am excited to exchange postcards, of any kind!

-Art, people (famous or not), architecture, castles
-Cultural landmarks, historical landmarks, local scenery
-Humorous or funny postcards and images
-Fantasy images, such as dragons, fairies
-Handmade postcards, letters, cards, mementos, crafts
-Old or vintage postcards
-LGBTQ cards, artistic nudes/erotica
-Food, candy, baked goods, recipes
-Cards that are dark, strange, macabre

I love fun, interesting stamps as well.

Please feel free to send any stories, experiences, or interesting facts that you would like to share. I am eager to learn about places, and people from any kind of background. You could share what an average day (or an unusual day) in your life is like. Or tell me what the weather has been like lately. A few words in your own language would be wonderful as well!

~♥ I collect keychains of any kind, (the more interesting/lovely/humorous, the better!) so if you would like to send one, that would be really great! :D ♥~

If you are interested in sending any other small gift, souvenir, memento, pictures or a letter in addition to a postcard I think that would be nice as well. These are just a few ideas, even a simple postcard just saying hello is fine.

I try my best to register postcards the day I receive them. However, if it has been more than 30 days since you sent me a postcard and I have not registered it, let me know! I will see if it has been misplaced, or perhaps lost in the mail.
