About Marieke...

Hi, my name is Marieke and I'm 36 years old. An article in the local newspaper got me interested and because I like to meet new people in other countries I decided to give it a try.

I run an online shop for postcards, gifts and notebooks and I'm a part time student at the Schumann Academy (one of the conservatories in the Netherlands), where I'm studying flute, piccolo, alto flute and piano. I hope to become a professional musician and music teacher in a few years. I'm married and we live with our two dogs (a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and a Golden Retriever), four cats and two rabbits outside a town called Lelystad. We have a large garden where we spend a lot of time. Besides gardening I love playing the flute, listening to classical music and go to concerts, reading, sailing and walking with my dogs.

I like most cards, but especially cards about music, dogs, cats, baby animals, sunset and the ocean, Krtek (the little mole) and Fiep Westendorp.
I also like cards with a fox on it, (has something to do with my lastname ). Anyway; Just surprise me!

I love special stamps, but especially stamps with music, wine or cricket as a theme.
