My main hobby is anything to do with textiles such as quilting and knitting. I'm trying to find the time to experiment with a different technique every month this year. So far I've succeeded but there is a long way to go yet.

I enjoying visiting other countries but it looks as though this year is going to be one for staying at home and exploring the UK instead of going abroad. Luckily I live in a beautiful part of England and it's about time I got to know it better.

I read a lot, I keep my e-reader topped up all the time with new books to read and I discuss what I read on www.Goodreads.com. I mostly read mystery,crime and thriller books but am trying to widen my horizons and have started to read Victorian novels and have joined a 52 books in 52 weeks challenge.

Favourite tv programmes include all sorts of science fiction/fantasy such as Dr Who/Stargate SG1/Buffy/Angel.

I've only recently started collecting postcards and don't mind what I receive. I do like it when people take the time to write something on the card. I enjoy learning about other people and what interests them. I like to have information about a card and where it's from.
