My name is Paula and since my husband Wim died, I live my life alone.
Luckily I have friends and family and I am very active.
I live in a little village near the city of Hoorn, between the North sea and the IJssellake.
I have always liked to write and send letters and postcards.
Other hobbies, beside my work as a social worker in a psychiatric hospital, are: Reading, walking, biking, travelling, visit musea and other cultural things and being creative with plants and flowers.
Postcrossing may also be a chance to get to know new people around the world. And, who knows, to make new friends!
All kinds of cards are welcome, but especially cards of your town, your country, culture and the nature.
I really enjoy cards with the Northern lights, Aurora Borealis (and Australis) , waterfalls, snowy mountains, seas and oceans, rivers, planets, the moon and the stars, cities and countries with light.....
