I am 40+ years old and I live with my family on an island in the Aleutian Chain, off the coast of Alaska. The map shows me living on Kodiak, but we are hundreds of miles away in Dutch Harbor on Unalaska Island. Kodiak is the closest "big" city I guess.
I love hiking, camping, boating and fishing as weather permits in the summer. I am blessed with being able to walk on the beach with my husband almost every night from spring through fall. In the winter I spend alot of time indoors reading, watching movies, and writing postcards.
When sending me a card, please write on it. Even just a word or two about you would be great. If you include your address on the card I will send you a reply.
My favorites are buildings or old structures, churches, historical buildings or castles. I only have a few lighthouses, so those would be great.
Another favorite are street or city scapes.
I love cards that feature people, places, textiles or things that are unique to your culture. Off the wall obscure events or attractions are always welcome too.
