About Louise...

Hi,
I am from the Midwest in the USA, I grew up in Chicago and now live in southern Wisconsin, Mequon, to be exact, just north of Milwaukee. I also lived for 30 years in Memphis, Tennessee.

I love to travel and have been to Europe about 20 times. I also have visited Morocco and Turkey and find other people and other cultures and customs very enriching.

Can you tell me something special about your culture or background/family? My grandfather, Edmund' grew up in Padew, Poland when it was under Austrian rule.
He learned his baker trade in Vienna, Austria. When he came to America he became production manager for a commercial bakery in Chicago called Vienna Model.

Many years ago, I worked in reservations for Pan American Airlines in Chicago. Has anyone ever worked for this international airline? If so, tell me about it. I very much liked working for Pan Am.

Also, as a child I took accordion lessons. No one plays an accordion anymore in America, except maybe someone my age. I still enjoy accordion music very much! If anyone ever happens to have a postcard with an accordion(s) on it, I would absolutely be thrilled to receive any that could possibly be out there.

1) I would love to know what social issue you feel strongly about, pro or con and perhaps why? 2) Another question you might like to share is: what are your plans for the coming weekend? 3) And still another question you might enjoy sharing is: What can you see from where you are right now?. Maybe you can choose one question of the three and share with me. Or share whatever you would like.

I am glad to meet y'all as we said in the south and I look forward to each and every postcard.
