Retired from the US National Park Service (USA) and have also worked with Rangers in National Parks / Protected Areas in the Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Indonesia.

Living now in Central Wisconsin at the edge of the north woods and close to the Great Lakes (Lake Michigan and Lake Superior)

Have travelled extensively with a particular interest in National Parks & Protected Areas as well as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and local sites of cultural or historic interest. Tell me something about a national park or World Heritage Site near you and maybe why you think it is special.

I like to send and receive postcards of any type, but am particularly fond of those showing the local countryside or special landscapes of your country. I would also like to learn more of local things of interest to your area such as old buildings or ruins, castles, canals & bridges, and items related to local interest or customs. I always appreciate thoughtful sstamps which may tell me something of your country!

Our family has hosted over 20 international foreign exchange students or interns over the last 30 years, and my wife has always worked with them trying recipes from their home countries. Even if they can not cook ... most of them have had grandmothers who could .... so anything related to the food of your country would bring a smile to her face!
