Hi,

I'm a 40-year-old German from the north (Hamburg) but live in Berlin, Germany for a few years now and still find this town amazing and astonishing. In my free time I like to explore the city and visit the parts I have not seen yet (there are still a few!). I like to knit, to crochet, to sew and I make allmost all of my clothes. I'm interested in art, modern architecture, I like coffee and movies and I'm really obsessed with textiles and fashion (current and historic).

So if you could send a postcard with

- the typical dress of your region
- or a craft related to fabric and yarn (weaving, embroidery, fabric manufacturing in general etc.),
- old textiles which can be found in museums and the like,

this would be especially great. Or any card where you can see how people dress, nowadays or in the past, on the street or for special occasions. I like fashion photography and fashion drawings, old movie stars and traditional costumes. Nice ad cards from fashion/sewing businesses of your hometown would be interesting, too.

But I also like black-and- white/ sepia postcards of any subject, art cards, food and drink typical for your country, recipe cards and many more things I can't think of now. Have a look at my favourites, I have collected a few cards I like (and haven't received) there.

So these are just a few suggestions, I will be happy about any card you send! If you like, tell me about your favorite piece of clothing or the garment that matters to you the most. I am hardly seen without a knitted cardigan, for example - i like to knit, it's cosy and I'm often cold, so I couldn't live without it.
