Hi dear fellow postcrossers!

My name is Sylvia and I am a medical student living in Germany.
I'm 23 years old. When I was 16 I went abroad as an exchange student and stayed in South Africa for a year. That's also were my postcrossing name comes from (my hostfamily called me Mbali instead of Sylvia).

I like nearly all kinds of postcards, but of course I have a so called "wishlist" (in no specific order):

~ view cards from capitals all around the world with the name of the capital in front
~ US state cards with the name of the state
~ black and white cards
~ typical tourist cards
~ any card that deals with the topic "medicine"
~ people in traditional clothes
~ traditional ceremonies and buildings from your country
~ landscapes
~ skylines and city views, multiviews or single views

I hope this list is not to specific or out of the ordinary.
Of course you can send me any card you like, the above mentioned are just suggestions. I will be happy about every card I receive. :)

I try to send nice cards only and I trust you to do the same.
Please don't send me any ad cards, I don't really like them. Of course exceptions are "allowed" if the ad card is extremely beautiful and you feel like you just have to send it to me.

And before I forget:
I am a big animal lover and a vegetarian.
So please be so kind and don't send me a card showing dead animals or animal cruelty or abuse. Thank you so much!

I'll be glad to learn more about you, your country, your home and your views.
You can tell me about everything, from what you did the day you wrote the card over your favourite joke to your political views or favourite quotes.
