My friends think POSTCROSSING is crazy, but I am having fun. Thanks to all of you for helping me maintain my sanity.

I'm retired and live with my wife (Judi) and cat (Maxwell) about 20 miles southeast of Seattle, Washington. I tend to read history, literature, popular science, and humor books.

I have collected stamps for many years and learned of Postcrossing from a stamp collector magazine. I try to use interesting US stamps on my post cards and would appreciate the same in return. I try to match the postcards and stamps to the receiver's interests.

For my European friends I would love to receive EUROPA stamps on the cards sent to me and would like map cards from my fellow American Postcrossers.

I wish I could travel more. I have visited Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, England, Wales, France, Switzerland, Germany, and Luxembourg. I have also visited all of the 50 United States.

Because I worked for Boeing, postcards with airplanes are favorites as are cards associated with colleges or universities. UNESCO site cards are always welcome. Try to let me know why you picked the card you sent me if not evident from this profile.

Actually I love all postcards and beer.
