About Katya...

Hi! My name is Katya, I`m a student. I`m very sociable and active person, so I like to spend free time with my friends and I have a lot of hobbies.

One of my favorite hobbies is photography. Most of all I like to photograph people. I try to catch their emotions on my photoshoots. As for me every person is unique and there's nothing more interesting than people. I like to study people, I always try to understand them. And photography helps me with it :)

Also I like reading & listening music a lot. It helps me understand myself and the world around me a little better. I can`t imagine myself without a good book and a music player in my bag;)

I like to travel around my beautiful country and around the world. Each journey is very special for me. I enjoy the beauty of the world. Simple things like a leaf in the wind or the noise of the sea waves make me really happy. By the way I like wind and water in all its forms (rain, seas, rivers, snow etc), sometimes I even talk with it=)) In winter I always miss the sea.

I like Japan, Eastern culture, different kinds of tea, writing, long walks...There are a lot of interesting things in the world=)

And postcrossing is a very important part of my life too.I like to find,send and receive cards very much.

You may look, what kind of postcards I like in my favorite postcard wall. But for example, I like the postcards with people (scenes, faces, smiles, body`s parts...anything!), emotions, sea, water, rain, cafe, interesting pictures, paintings, handmade cards, black-white, bright colours, watch (clock), camera, city life (srteets with people), pictures that shows the way of living of the people etc. It can be photo or painting, it doesn`t matter. I can`t describe my preferences well=( So most of all I like postcards that can be described as interesting, unusual, dream, romantic, philosophical, amazing, amusing, impressing and so and so on! I like the postcards with an interesting idea and its own athmosphere.

But I don`t like boring postcards with monuments or buildings, standard city views. It`s not very interesting for me,I`m sorry=(

But I accept all the cards, because I think that people select them for a personal reason and it`s enaugh for me. If you like the postcard and if you think that it`s right for me, you should send it!

And I'd really like to learn something about you or just your thoughts or dreams. Maybe you want recommend me your favorite books, songs, favorite quotes or paint something? I`ll be happy with it. Please, write all what you want! For me the back side of the card is no less interesting than the pictured one. I want to see the person behind the postcard but not only the picture.
