About Maria...

Hi! My name is Maria (or Маша), I am a student. My hometown is Saint Petersburg, Russia. Now I live and study in Bielefeld, Germany, and love this city, too. It is very cozy and beautiful.

I am against the war.
When I lived in Russia, I used to say that I don't play in politics. It is impossibleto see the awful truth, knowing that you have no chance to change anything.

I love everything related to books (and poetry), theatre and music. My favourite books are Master and Margarita, Karlsson on the Roof, Gone with the wind, Illusions. I like everything by Max Frei <3, Terry Pratchett and Strugatsky brothers. I also read every new book written by Friedrick Backman.
I've been singing in a choir for more than 15 years now and I play piano.

I love postcrossing very much and every card I receive makes me happy! It's great to receive postcards or letters from my penpals whom I met because of postcrossing. So if you are interested in direct swaps, write to me!

I would love to receive any card from you. Here is just some ideas if you don't know what to choose:

- watercolour drawing
- minimalism
- love, couples
- cozy pictures
- music, piano
- books
- poetry
- beautiful people
- notebooks
- PIN UP
- pigs, squirrels
- theatre

I also like cards in an envelope.

If you don't know what to write, I would be glad to know what your favourite or last read book or you favourite poem is. As a bookworm I'm always interested in good books. Also I would be happy to learn some very popular song in your culture. What do you usually sing to celebrate birthday or Christmas or New year? Or just a song that everybody knows? I'll find it in the internet and listen. These are, of course, just some ideas. I would be glad to hear whatever you want to tell me.

For Russian speakers:
Пожалуйста, обращайся ко мне на "ты", здесь ведь все свои :)

For German speakers:
Gerne duzen :)

Happy postcrossing!
