About Giedrė...
Hello there! ^^
My name is Giedrė. I live in Lithuania, Kuršėnai. This small town is called the capital of pottery in our country. I make pottery myself. ;) I live with my mum, 3 cats and a dog. I'm vegetarian, LGBT supporter.
My preferences for cards:
♦ The Beatles ♥
♦ The Who (!)
♦ Freddie Mercury or Queen
♦ Other inspiring people (especially John Lennon)
♦ Salvador Dali
♦ Vincent van Gogh
♦ Philosophy, quotes
♦ Sketched, drawn people or a photo of them (portraits, sailors, smoking people, musicians, women, children, old men)
♦ Vintage photos
♦ Artistic photos, paintings, drawing, sketches of animals (esp. birds)
♦ National Geographic (!)
♦ Breathtaking landscapes
♦ Flag of your (or other) country
♦ World or one country's map
♦ Musical instruments
♦ Handmade (neatly made, please)
♦ Cute or funny comics
♦ Black & White
♦ Art
♦ Something alike my favourites
OR / with...:
♦ A bag of your favourite tea
♦ Few sweets, maybe a bar of chocolate (my fav is with crushed hazelnuts ;D)
♦ A nice bookmark (handmade one would be even better)
♦ A pencil or other small thing you'd like to share with me :)
♦ A letter. I would love to get one! Probably because you can tell me anything. Absolutely ANYTHING. I'm a complete stranger - you have nothing to hide from me. That's the best side of Postcrossing in my opinion. :)
I love airmail envelopes, by the way! ;D
Dear Russians, http://tiny.cc/pmdmcw << these postcards are gorgeous!
Write me a secret, what made you smile today, a funny happening, your favourite band / singer, song, book, movie or... ANYTHING you want to share. ;)
Enjoy your life,
Giedrė
P.S. I have a SPECIAL REQUEST for MARCH: as a birthday wish for me, I would like you NOT to send me happy birthday cards, actually, I would like you NOT to send ANY postcards to me during March - in other words, I wish you to send me ANYTHING, but NOT postcards. Do you think that's possible? I'm not asking you for anything grand - a letter, a bar of chocolate, bookmark, tea, pencil, your handmade something (EXCEPT postcard), stationery, some photos taken by you or any other small gift (costing not more than a usual postcard) you think I might like or even love. I would really appreciate if you could brighten up my day with such a gift from yours. :)
