About me:

(I feel like I'm writing an on-line profile for a social networking site - which I guess I am, in a way!)

Likes: sock monkeys, funky socks, toilet paper (I currently have over 200 rolls stashed in basement in case of a "toilet paper emergency", LOL!), board and card games, Dilbert comics, British Royal Family, attending plays and musicals, music (especially country music, music from the '80s, and dance music), motorcycles

Favourite TV Shows: Ice Road Trucker, Dog The Bounty Hunter, Storage Wars, Billy The Exterminator, Criminal Minds, Little House on The Prairie, Gilligan's Island, All in The Family, The Office (British version), Mr. Bean, Are You Being Served?, other British comedies (they're the best!)

Favourite Movies: Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin movies, Cheaper By The Dozen (the original one), National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, It's a Wonderful Life, Gone With The Wind, anything with Robert Downey Jr in it, '80's "teen" movies, documentaries of all types, the "North and South" television miniseries (all three parts).

Hobbies: photography, reading (especially "classic" novels both British and American, and biographies), scrapbooking, cardmaking, baking, crafting

Favourite Animals: all of them, but especially Flamingos, Orange Cats, Pugs & Puggles, Giraffes, Pigs, Hippopotamus

Favourite Foods: corn on the cob, cornbread, popcorn (see a trend here, LOL!), chocolate, potato chips, ice cream, peppermint candy

Bucket List (partial): ride a motorcycle, take trips to Hawaii & Great Britain; write a novel; article, or something that is published; go winter camping; ride a unicycle; visit all 50 US states & 13 provinces/territies in Canada; try belly dancing & zumba; do a polar bear swim; read through the Bible; have a photograph I've taken published; ride in a hot air balloon; go skydiving; get a tattoo (small butterfly with flowers on right shoulderblade)

I appear quiet, calm, and reserved to those that don't know me, but my friends know I'm a bit whacky, quite funny (& sometimes sarcastic), friendly and talkative, and that I have multiple, quite varied, & off-beat interests.

NOTE: Absolutely NO cards that are sexually explicit or that contain sexual innuendo.

I enjoy social & cultural history, as well as natural history, so UNESCO postcards would be welcome.
