About Lieve...

Hello,
My name is Lieve; I live in Belgium, in the Dutch-speaking part of the country.
I'm a physical therapist -- partly in an elderly home, which is very rerwarding.
In my spare time I like to make greeting cards for all kind of occasions. Some I send to friends and family, but I also sell them for charity : dementia research.
(No panic, I won’t send you one of those cards; you’ll get a postcard ;-) )

I wrote my first Postcrossing postcard in september 2013, and since then curious about the postcard I will receive from you : Every card is like a little present in the mailbox.
But the pleasure to send you a postcard, is as great.

Any postcard is welcome -- preferably no double/folded cards, and not in an envelope : a beautiful stamp and written address on the card are part of the charm.
Please send happy, friendly cards; no rude, nude, violence, weapons, horror, ... Thank you.

Some ideas :

I love the Inge Löök old ladies (The Aunties) cards - I hope to feel, look, act and laugh as them, when I'm their age ! (so far I was so lucky to receive n° 19 - 23 - 33 - 38 - 40 - 56 - 64)
I would also be very pleased with cards with calligraphy, pens, inkwells, ... on it (since I took some calligraphy courses myself).
It would be nice to get a card with something typical for your country (a map, nature, food, tradional costume, ...).
Vintage/retro advertising-cards are often pieces of art.
Cards with beautiful quotes; funny cards; "Keep calm and..."cards; colourful postcards; Aboriginal-art cards and Olympics/Paralympics/Special Olympics-cards are welcome as well.
I would also appreciate Katya Dudnik-cards; a "Love is..." postcard by Kim Casali; Anton Pieck-cards, a "Hummel-postcard"; an Anita Jeram, Beatrix Potter or Marjolein Bastin illustration postcard or a Flower Fairies postcard.
As a chocolate-lover (Belgian chocolate is delicious !) postcards with old chocolate advertising would be nice too.
An "etegami-card" would make me very happy too - I discovered them some years ago; they are great.
And of course it would be a joy to receive World Postcard Day and Postcrossing cards; or postcards with a postman, mailboxes or post-office-box.

Please tell me something about yourself, your region or country, or something about the card (and not just "hi" and "bye" ;-) ) and can you write the date on your card ?
Thank you !

Be careful, stay safe and healthy !

I hope to hear from you soon,
Lieve
