Hello, dear Postcrosser!

My name is Līga. I am 36 years old and I live in Latvia, a small green country of the Baltic states. I am an art conservator by profession and a passionate dog portrait painter. Ever since I was a kid, I loved all kind of art and creative stuff. I also like cooking, travel photography, fantasy literature, science, attending theatre performances and lot of other things that inspire me.

When I was eleven, my hobby was writing letters to my friends. Since I am immersed into career making, all letters and diaries now are locked in a box of memories. Times are going and coming, and here I am, ready for the new writing - Postcrossing!

You are welcomed to send me any kind of postcard you would like to receive or that makes you smile. Anything that pictures your lifestyle, living area or favourite place. Please tell me about your hobby or favourite celebration in your country! How do you start your day? I enjoy to get a handwritten postcard from someone who lives far away.
As someone who loves collecting things, I appreciate receiving a vintage postcard or a postcard with a nice special stamp on it.
When still in doubt, you could send me a postcard of 80's life, music band, movie, novel, or TV adaptations (especially Harry Potter film series) - it has just become my newest obsession!
