About Klaus233...

Hello!

I am Klaus and I live in Germany.

I am 50 years & I work as an public servant.

The small town where I live is called Kranenburg. It is located in the lower rhine region ( German: "Niederrhein" ), very close to the border to the Netherlands. In our language we call a short distance "Katzensprung", what means "a cat´s jump" in English. It´s a Katzensprung to the border from my house.

My hobbies: the voluntary fire brigade (see photo), sauna, traveling, writing postcards, sports at the gym & walking in the woods.

I am proud to be an volunteer fire fighter. It gives big pleasure to help other people.
The fire brigade does not put only fires out. The F.B. helps in almost all situations. Inundations, pipe burst, damages by storm, missing people and all kinds of accidents. If you come to people whose feel bad because they have a big problem, and they are better when you leave them, is that a very good feeling for every fireman!

I truly love trees. Sometimes I wish they could tell stories. Imagine: An 350 years old oak could tell what she has experienced!! If I go for a walk in the woods I hug trees, unfortunately, my arms are too short for this. Hahaha.. :)

I like to lean against a tree or to look high in a tree.

And I love cats as well! Cats are very similar to me. They are so much independent and they can not be forced to something. That is the main reason, why I love them. At the moment I have no own cat, but some day I will have one again.

I like to travel and I have been to some interesting places of the globe.

With Postcrossing I would like to send postcards to many nice people from all over the world. Of course I would like to get many nice postcards as well.

Almost all postcards are welcome! Especially those with photos of:

- fire trucks (I know they are hard to find, but: it makes me dance around my house)
- buildings of fire stations (makes me dance as well)
- erotic, pin up girls (black-white photos preferred)
- trees, woods
- cats
- big birds of prey such as eagles, owls, hawks
- bridges
- donkeys
- views of YOUR hometown
- landscapes (especially winter time)from YOUR country
- northern lights
- polar bears
- Antonow, Tupolew & Iljushin Airplanes (only those)

If you are from the US, it would be fine if you send me a card with the name of the state on it where you currently live.

I prefer standard size cards, ca. 14 x 10,5 cm / 5.5 x 4 inch

Please be so kind and write the ID at two different places on the card!!

Cards I do not like are:

- 3D
- animals wearing sunglasses,clothes,hats (=abuse of animals!)
- AD-cards
- Royals
- Used cards

## DO NOT GIVE MY ADRESS TO THIRD PATRIES ##

Thanks for reading!
