About Katariina...

I'm interested in different cultures, history and the Natives all over the world.
I enjoy lot of books, art and music and walking under the star-studded sky or in the forest, travelling, pondering, baking, cooking (I collect recipes and cookbooks). I also love to do conservation work on old books, rebinding and page repairs mostly.

Some of my favorite postcard subjects:

* books, reading people, pictures of Nobel Laureates in Literature
* vintage/retro images, black and white photos
* fantasy (with unicorns, elves, faeries, goddesses, witches)
* Moomins
* Zdenek Miler's Krtek, Sven Nordqvist
* Native People
* children of the world
* old people of the world
* historical places,ancient maps
* UNESCO World Heritage
* the recipe of the traditional food in your country
* space, volcanos, storm/lightning
* art
* cards of Atelier Nouvelle Images
* Anne Taintor
* children's book illustration
* cats,lions, panthers,leopards,jaguars, tigers
* B. Kliban´s cats, Tukituk cats (from Russia)
* bears, polar bears
* local nature (single view, no multiview cards )

If you don't have any of the above don't worry. I am happy :) with whatever you choose to send.

If you want, please tell me something about you; what your everyday life is like, the things that make you happy, what has happened to you recently or your favorite book or short description of things that are totally typical for your country!

If you come from a Russian-speaking country or region, could you please write to me in Russian so that I have a chance to practice my Russian?

I prefer my postcards written and stamped (a nice stamp would be great).No ad-cards, please.

Suomesta myös Inge Löökin mummelit, Stenvallin ankat, Hannu Hautalan, Rudolf Koivun, Martta Wendelin ja Raija Nokkalan kortit ovat tervetulleita.Kiitos!
