Hi!
I'm a 27 year old student born in the wrong country - though the Netherlands is quite nice, for a mountain sports enthusiast it's not ideal: it's completely flat! However, the universities are good (I study climatology at Utrecht University), people are generally open minded and as I'm writing this the weather is lovely :) Enough redeeming factors to stay here for a while. But still, I'd love to hear about where you live, what your life is like, what you're passionate about. Hope to read all about it soon on the back of a postcard :D

If you don't know what card to choose for me: no worries! Truly anything you like, I will like. To me, the story behind your postcard (why do you like it, why did you choose it?) is the most interesting part of the card - so you see, anything goes!

If you'd still like some pointers, these are some of the things I love:
* 'Wilderness' type landscapes - pieces of our planet (or any planet, really!) that are still ruled by Nature
* Mountains & mountain sports - haven't got them back home, so I like looking at them on my wall :)
* Mythology - I love Greek, Roman, Scandinavian, Celtic etc mythology. Or maybe something from your country?
* Children's books and fairytales - have you maybe got a postcard from a favorite story from your youth? Tell me all about it!
* Maps - any and all. Historical, touristy, educational, Earth, stars.. whatever you like!
* Weather and nature phenomena - I live on the 22nd floor with windows on the east, so I have a lovely view of the rising sun each day. Sunsets I have to get from postcards :) Same goes for hurricanes, northern lights, thundersnow, monsoons, supercells etc because we don't usually get them in the Netherlands!
* Food - especially whatever is popular in your country! And maybe you've got a recipe to share too? I love to cook and bake.
* Decorated cakes, cupcakes, cookies etc - One of my hobbies, so always great to get inspiration from a postcard.
* Fire - another hobby of mine (as in, doing controlled and relatively safe stuff with fire, for shows or fun. Not a pyromaniac :P)
* Fall & Winter - my favorite seasons (thought not the winter we usually get in the Netherlands, I mean actual winter: snowy, icy, white and cold)
* Industry - I know, I'm all about nature and climate change etc, but I'll have to admit one of my favorite views is the German Ruhrgebiet (heavy industry, with its smoke, fire and twinkling lights) at twilight.. sorry planet!
* Butterflies - let's end on a more positive note! Who doesn't love butterflies?! Exactly :D
