Hello there!
My name is Jenny, I´m 21 years old and I live with my family in a small town in the east of the Netherlands. I study history and hope to finish my Bachelor this semester. Last year I studied a semester in Iceland, which was of course really cool. :)
Some things I like or I'm fan of:
- Books written by Arnaldur Indriðason, Stieg Larsson, Unni Lindell, Henning Mankell, Yrsa Sigurðardóttir, Carlos Ruiz Zafón and Markus Zusak
- Music: [among others] Peter Broderick, Kråkesølv, the National, Radiohead, Sigur Rós, soundtracks
- Sports: Cycle racing, football, ice speedskating (all only watching!)
- TV series: Castle, the Mentalist, NCIS, Sherlock and some Dutch shows
- And also: animation movies, Bert & Ernie, castles, the Eurovision Song Contest, Italian icecream and mayonnaise
I would like to receive my cards without an envelope and I don´t like ad-cards. I´m also not a big fan of cards with flowers and/or animals. Apart from that, I´ll be happy with any card! If you would like to have some suggestions: a beautiful landscape (single view if possible), something historical, an illustration for children or a card which fits with one of my interests as mentioned above will always be appreciated. Don´t worry if you don´t have anything like that; a view of your city is always okay!
If you don´t know what to write, I can also give you some suggestions:
- Book recommendations (As you see up here, I read quite a lot of Scandinavian thrillers. But lately I realized that it might be a good idea to ´enlarge´ my view of books a bit, as there must be so many great books in other genres. A book recommendation would therefore make me very happy!)
- Music recommendations
- Your favourite word in your own language (I think mine is ´graag´ (gladly, with pleasure). I like the meaning, but especially the pronunciation, with the Dutch ´g´ which foreigners find mostly very difficult (and often ugly). But I don´t ;-)).
- A quote you like
- Interesting/unknown/useless/weird historical facts
But again, these are just some suggestions. Just write me what you want.
