My name is Irene and I'm 20. I was born in a small town, which is called Kotovsk. It's situated not far from Odessa. My native town is very beautiful and its residents are so friendly and hard-working. I'm a third-year student at the university in Odessa. This is a marvellous city with a lot of interesting sights. I fell in love with the Pearl near the Black Sea many years ago. It never stops surprising me.
I like studying foreign languages: English, German, French. I would also like to study Chinese. Studying foreign languages is not just my hobby, but a future profession. I have always dreamt of becoming a teacher of English or German. I like kids very much. Perhaps, I will teach students at the university. I haven't made up my mind yet.
I enjoy reading books. I like detective stories most of all.
I adore pets very much. I have a fluffy cat and a funny dog. They are so cute!
I'm fond of different TV shows. For example, "Criminal minds", "Bones", "Prison break", "Bates Motel". As you can see I like secrets and dangerous situations, but I also like comedies. "Friends" is really a special TV show for me. I would like to have such a nice company of friends.
I adore Spanish series such as "El barco", "Luna, el misterio de Calenda", "Gran Hotel", "Los protegidos".
I love sunny weather, warm sea and sand. Swimming is one of my interests.
A journey round the world is the biggest dream of my life. Hope that one day it will come true. It's great when your dreams become real. I wish it everyone!

It will broaden my mind. I also like postcards with wild animals and pets (especially with cats), nature, film stars, food (especially with cupcakes) and so on. Black and white postcards are nice too. You know my favourite TV shows. I'll be very delighted to receive postcards illustrating them.
