About Iris...

Hurray,

the postcrossing-postcard-generator sorted my adress out for your next card and I am happy to receive any postcard you like! Here is a little something about me: I am originally from Germany, but I currently live in a beautiful city called Nijmegen (in the Netherlands) and teach German in a school. I absolutely love traveling. Sometimes I combine traveling with working. So far I have lived in Germany (of course :)), Belgium, Greece, Vietnam and the Philippines. Some stays were longer, some shorter. :)
Please tell me something about your country (e.g.: which place do I have to see when I visit your country), or write something about yourself: What makes you smile? Which book are you currently reading? I also like drawings - So, if you are not in the mood for writing, just draw something! ;) Please don't send me a blank card with only my adress on it.
You get the best impression of the kind of cards I like, if you have a look at my favourites. For those, who don't have the time to look them up, here is a selection of my favourite themes:

I got such a beautiful postcard with the letter "s". Now I would be very happy to receive art-postcards with other letters of the alphabet as well (especially the letters "i" and "r" ;))

<3 I absolutely love VINTAGE postcards!!!!!
<3 art postcards (Leonid Afremov, Van Gogh, Inge Löök, or any artist of your country)
<3 books, book cover and reading people
<3 children's book illustrations
<3 Moomin
<3 smiling or laughing people
<3 POSTALLOVE cards (greetings from-series)
<3 something colourful, funny or homemade
<3 a postcard with a saying or a phrase in your language (please with translation :))
<3 if possible, please don't send me generic tourist cards!

Those who are from Greece or Italy: Please write me in your own language. This helps me to learn it faster! ;)

And please put your name and the date on your postcard.

I am looking forward to your postcards!

Have a nice day and happy Postcrossing!
