Hi all!

My name is Olga, but I prefer to be addressed as Heylir. :)

I like Star Trek, Tolkien, English classic literature (especially Jane Austen and Dickens) and Pratchett.

As I am a dull and boring person, I prefer "serious" postcards to "funny" ones. Classic art cards, reproductions of paintings (I love Dutch Golden Age ones, especially Rembrandt and -- though they are Flemish -- portraits by Van Dyck!), astronomy (I especially like views of starry sky) and cosmonautics, archeology, science in general, book illustrations and things like that are very welcome.

And I would be very grateful for a card with something specific for your town/country, including tourist city views. Reproductions of paintings (or other pieces of art) that made by "local" (from your town/country) artists or belong to "local" museums really would made my day.

For more specific wishes, I love UK stamp cards and paintings of Junko Kitano.

But I shall be happy to receive any card, especially if you write something in your native language or about your favourite books/movies or hobbies.

I don't mind postal cards (with one side blank), ad or free cards. And I would like to receive Christmas/New Year or birthday greeting cards in the appropriate time of year. :)

I like pretty stamps and Europa CEPT ones - I will really happy to receive them on my postcards!

I often receive lovely postcards scratched by sorting machines, so if you send me a special, beautiful card, putting it written in an envelope would be very nice of you.
